Theatre: Cast in NYC World Premiere of “Hangman”

This week begins rehearsal for the play Hangman by Gregory Fletcher that will have a NYC World Premiere this March!

Artistic New Directions is producing the play as a part of their annual festival, An Eclectic Evening of Shorts IX: Boxers & Briefs.  Gregory Fletcher wrote the play in homage to LeRoi Jones‘ (Amiri Baraka)1964 Obie Award winning play, Dutchman.

“As Cliff rushes to a last minute temp job, he jumps into the last car of a local subway train without noticing the signs of ‘construction delays’. When the train stops dead in-between stations, Cliff is alone with one other passenger. A stranger? A friend? A cruise? Just when they think they know each other, subway hell changes these men’s lives forever. A drama in tribute to LeRoy Jones and his play, ‘Dutchman’.”

I’ll be portraying the character “Nicky” alongside my Mirror, Mirror castmate Dino Petrera (check out his reel) as “Cliff”.
