This month I’ll be reprising my role as “Nicky” in the second NYC production of Hangman by Gregory Fletcher. Direction is by Marshall Mays (Artistic Director of Kaleidoscope Theatre Co., and I’ll be playing opposite Dino Petrera.
Gregory Fletcher wrote the play in homage to LeRoi Jones‘ (Amiri Baraka) 1964 Obie Award winning play, Dutchman.
“As Cliff rushes to a last minute temp job, he jumps into the last car of a local subway train without noticing the signs of ‘construction delays’. When the train stops dead in-between stations, Cliff is alone with one other passenger. A stranger? A friend? A cruise? Just when they think they know each other, subway hell changes these men’s lives forever. A drama in tribute to LeRoy Jones and his play, ‘Dutchman’.”
